The 2023 Taipei Rose Festival kicked-off at the Xingshen Area of Taipei Expo Park on March 1st. Boasting over 800 types of roses, the venue is subdivided into six major zones: “Cultivars,” “Sea of Flower,” “Vibrant Rose Garden,” “Cultivators’ Garden,” “Horticultural Plant Display Area,” and “Secret Garden.” Of course, visitors will readily notice the romantic, rose-decorated archway leading to the exhibition grounds.

Unlike other flower festival-related events, the Rose Festival comprises flowers grown and cultivated at the Park, where the beautiful sight of blooming roses can be enjoyed throughout the year. This achievement is made possible by the staff at the Parks and Street Lights Office. According to the agency, the roses are expected to reach full bloom around March 10th, so don’t miss this wonderful opportunity!

In addition to the display of roses, the organizers will also hold a series of activities, including weekend flea market with food trucks and stalls by rose-related merchants. Goods, such gardening tools, design plant plots, rose ointment and rose jam can be purchased from different stalls. The Taipei City Wedding Photography Association will also set up shop to offer various packages for those interested in tying the knot against the backdrop of the beautiful rose garden.
