The exclusive Pokémon 30th Anniversary event "PokéXciting!" is set to arrive in Taipei City in October 2026, positioning Taipei City as one of five Asian partner cities: Kuala Lumpur, Taipei City, Singapore, Manila, and Bangkok. Presented through a collaboration between The Pokémon Company and the Taipei City Government, the event also unveils the Taipei City stop-exclusive "PokéXciting! Pikachu."

The Pokémon Parade will take place on October 10 and 11 at Xiangti Avenue Plaza and is expected to draw Trainers and fans from across Taiwan and around the world. During the event, Pokégenic interactive photo spots that blend with Taipei City's urban scenery will be set up at Xinyi Square, Xinyi Ankang Park, Songshou Plaza, and the area around Taipei City Hall, inviting visitors to explore Xinyi District while creating special Pokémon-and-Taipei City memories.

More highlights are also on the way: the event will feature Pokémon meet-and-greet sessions and pop-up performances. Pokémon GO has also planned a range of exclusive in-game events. On July 11 and 12, themed installations were set up at MRT Zhongshan Station and Xinzhongshan Linear Park, with Mega Mewtwo X and Mega Mewtwo Y made available for challenges. More in-game content, including the chance to catch "PokéXciting! Pikachu," will be rolled out later.
