To celebrate its 65th anniversary, Taipei Broadcasting Station (TBS) will host the 2026 ''Love in Taipei: Summer Concert''on July 18 at Taipei Zhongshan Hall. The concert, themed ''Stories of Taiwanese Hokkien Pop Musicians,'' will showcase performances by veteran and rising stars, including Anna Wang, Ming-Te Li, and Roger Wang, reinterpreting classic Taiwanese Hokkien pop songs by legendary musicians Yu-Hsien Teng and San-Lang Yang. Free tickets will be available from 10:00 on July 10. Reserve yours early and join us for this special event!
TBS Director Shao-Chien Hu noted that this year’s concert will revive classic Taiwanese Hokkien pop songs spanning the 1930s to the 1980s, paying tribute to five iconic masters: Yu-Hsien Teng, San-Lang Yang, Hsia Wen, Ang It-Hong, and Chen-Nan Tsai. These timeless tracks will be reinterpreted by five acclaimed artists, Anna Wang, Ming-Te Li, Roger Wang, Kuljelje, and Mei Lin. Featuring 20 beloved hits such as ''Red in All Four Seasons,'' ''Rainy Night Flower,'' ''Wish You Come Back Soon,'' ''The One I Yearn For,'' ''Daydream,'' and “Falling Flowers.'' The music of every generation represents an epitome of Taiwanese Hokkien music's rich evolution and enduring historical memory. Hosted by popular radio personality Ho Chin and renowned singer Ming-Te Li, the event promises to be an immersive summer celebration of classic Taiwanese Hokkien music.
The ''Love in Taipei: Summer Concert'' will take place on July 18 from 15:00 to 17:00. Free tickets will be available starting July 10 at 10:00, both at Taipei Zhongshan Hall and online through KKTIX. The public can claim physical tickets at ''Taipei Zhongshan Hall'' or secure electronic tickets through the ''KKTIX online platform''. This performance features reserved seating. Each person is limited to two tickets. Tickets are available while supplies last.
The concert will also be livestreamed on the radio station's YouTube channel, allowing those unable to attend to enjoy the performance online in real time.
