Decent but not Michelin material
Went with my family of four. The shrimp with green beans were good. Their pork cooked in foil was good, although i have been told not to cook with aluminum foil. But the reinforced the foil with a plastic cover. But the big disappointment was the beggars chicken. Everything was good upto the presentation. But when we started eating, the chicked was dry. I thought the whole point behind the clay was to keep the moisture in. Stick with the pork and you should be fine though. But served with buns, i felt like i was eating pulled pork texas bbq with a slightly different gravy, although even the gravy was not that different. -

The best restaurant ever! (I SERIOUSLY SUGGEST YOU COME!!)
I love this restaurant! The stinky tofu here is the BEST!! My favorite restaurant! Plus. The dishes they serve are sooo good! And I’m a vegetarian, and still it’s great! When I wasn’t a vegetarian, it was awesome. The shrimp there was AMAZING, and the chicken there too! Everything here was good. I love it! I totally recommend you come here!! -

One of the best Shanghainese in Taipei
Rong Rong serves up authentic Shanghainese cuisine that i would put as among the best that the city has to offer. The decor is simple and gets a bit noisy, so this is not a fancy place. But if it is good authentic food you are going for, this is the place to be. -

A Taste of Crab...and Tradition
I had a dinner there with 2 of my friends at autumn, the season of crabs, so we ordered a crab dish served with porridge, it’s tasty! Getting in such a famous Zhejiang restaurant, we also tried some Zhejiang dishes, like drunken chicken, fried shrimps, fried eel, stewed taro with spring onion, and stewed minced pork balls, all satisfied us. By the way, stewed taro with spring onion is an infrequent dish nowadays, and I personally take the dish as an indicator of skilled chef and old fashioned restaurant. Sadly, for the concern of excessive amount, we didn’t try out braised pork belly or roast pork chop, both are must-eat in this restaurant, but a nearby table sitting 8 or even 9 persons strong as I recalled, ordered both and the odor smelled reaaaaly gorgeous.
