Driven by a persistent pursuit of culinary excellence, the restaurant developed a long-lasting reputation with freshly prepared, modern-style Cantonese dishes and heavenly dim sum based on a mixture of Eastern and Western recipes. The must-try of Three Coins is the papaya and seafood gratin, a half-salty, half-sweet treat made from sweet, small green papaya fruits and rich cheese.

Excellent Cantonese food!We had dinner here with colleagues and enjoyed a variety of cantonese and non-cantonese dishes. All excellent as the services was. Especially the Peking style duck was superb!
Very good Cantonese style food. The restaurant name is 八三元. I went with Taiwanese friends, who did the ordering. I am not sure if they have a menu in English, It is worth the effort, nonetheless. Everything was perfectly cooked, delicately flavoured and impeccably served. I particularly liked the rich and precious shrimp 富貴明蝦球 and the green beans with wrappers.
Average at bestAte at this restaurant as part of group tour package otherwise I will be seriously upset had I paid for it... The quality of food served and service rendered puts the credibility of Michelin guide at risk - it definitely does not warrant the 1 Star; not even bib gourmand.

Nice Cantonese FoodOur family like the food there, especially Cantonese food taste. The duck, fried shrimp, fish head soup.. Taste good. It's a restaurant with history, you can see its decoration is old Chinese style. Only one thing, the server should serve more efficiently, maybe we were during a peak time and they were all busy in the period.
ExcellentThis place is very clean, table are well spaced out and services are very good. Food is very good and prices are reasonable. Highly recommended ! Thank you Ms. Wu for making our dinner experience a great one. We will be back again and again.
