The 2020 Taipei Riverside Children’s Fun Carnival – Bravo’s Water Park kicked-off at the Taipei Water Park on August 15. Commissioner of Information and Tourism Liu Yi-ting joined elementary schoolers from Yongle Elementary School in a battle of water slides and water guns.
Organized by the Department of Information and Tourism (TPEDOIT), Bravo’s Water Park continues to attract large number of revelers following its initial trial operation. In compliance with pandemic prevention measures, a cap has been placed upon the number of visitors, and everyone entering the venue is required to have his or her temperature taken at the gate. Hand alcohol sprays are readily available, and a mandatory face mask measure is also in place.

Commissioner Liu highlighted three new features of this year’s event, including the first time for the event to spotlight a 60-meter monster water slide; the organization of a Starlight Kids’ Concert featuring members of the YOYO Family, and the installation of a limited-time-only Bravo photo sticker machine.
In addition, the ever-so-popular, weekend-limited Tour of Aqua Sites are already full. Those who were unable to reserve a spot can refer to the list of recommended attractions on the official activity website and plan their own short trips – whether to visit the Water Museum on their own or explore the Gongguan Commercial District to taste great cuisine.
Bravo’s Water Park will last from today through August 23. The facility is open from 9 AM through 6 PM, though the ticket booth closes at 5 PM. The facility is closed on August 17.
