As someone who engages with both visual and auditory elements, there are moments when the media that I usually work with—such as sound, language (spoken and written), acting, painting, photography, installations, and performances—are not adequate to express certain ideas or experiences. In such cases, I occasionally turn to video as a means of expression.
The videos presented in this exhibition are the result of this process. Some of them were made via mobile phone, while others were produced in collaboration with friends. One of the videos was shot by the director of Parasite, Hong Kyung-pyo, along with various crew members and actors. Another was captured by chance via a CCTV camera. The process of creating these videos was as diverse and unique as life itself.
