Event Time
Event Location
No. 1, Yumen St., Zhongshan Dist., Taipei City Taiwan, R.O.C
Summer’s arrival means that the annual Dragon Boat Festival is right around the corner! To answer customers’ needs ahead of the holiday, the farmers’ market regularly held at Taipei Expo Park will offer a wide array of ingredients for making delicious zongzi (sticky rice dumplings). There will also be interactive challenges at the main stage spotlighting zongzi-wrapping and other fun activities.

The counties and cities featured in June include Nantou County, Changhua County, Taipei City, and Yilan County. Visitors will be offered the opportunity of choosing their ingredients from a range of fresh and healthy products supplied by farmers’ associations from corners of the country.

With the subsiding of COVID-19, the farmers’ market classes will also resume in June. Those who shop at any of the farmers’ market stalls are eligible to sign up for one class free of charge by presenting their receipt. Examples of farmers’ market class include DIY lessons on making banana jam and yogurt treat, banana oatmeal waffle, Hakka zongzi, fragrant sachet, and summer floriculture display.

To minimize possible spread of the virus, all staffs and workers are obliged to wear a face mask and conduct self-health management and monitoring. Alcohol sprays will also be offered at the information desk for public use. Visitors are reminded to adopt standard precautions, such as wearing a face mask, wash hands frequently and maintain social distancing.
