Taipei Travel

This is the most important Hakka festival in Taipei. Centered on Yimin belief, Hakka culture is displayed from the angle of an immigrant festival. The three-day event invites Yimin temples from across Taiwan to take part. The festival reproduces the traditional Hakka “Giving away rice on poles” sacrificial ceremony in parade form to express the meaning of belief culture. Through various arts performances the characteristics of Hakka’s culture are shown.
