Beitou Hot Spring Museum is the first domestic case of local residents taking the initiative in preserving a historic site, an admirable cultural heritage cooperation between public and private sectors. Every year, the museum’s close-to-one-month-long celebration mobilizes all of its residents. Activities such as exhibitions, performances, music, shows, dramas, experience activities, lectures and guided tours help people have understanding of the town famous for its hot springs. It has become one of Beitou’s most important art and culture presentations. This year’s celebration will continue the tradition of working with local communities including community groups, schools, and other organizations in the neighborhood, creating a lively cultural achievement for Beitou.
