In light of the spike in domestic pandemic cases and the announcement of COVID-19 Level 3 Alert, Taipei Public Library (TPL) announced that the main library and all affiliated branches will remain closed through May 28.

All book borrowing reservations are suspended, and readers returning books should place them into the library return boxes.

For online borrowing reservations which the books have already been delivered to designated branches, the pickup deadline will be extended to June 15. For books with due dates between May 15 and May 28, the deadline will be extended to June 30.

During this period, those who wish to access the collections of TPL can still utilize FastBook automated book borrowing kiosks, library return boxes (excluding Smart Libraries), and the borrowing and return services via convenience stores.
